I remember a neighbor of mine had this exact machine. It hummed quietly through the cycle, and had the classic timer that snapped, instead of clicked.

Note: It says it could handle up to 20lbs. I do not know how much these were able to handle, but it sounds like it had a few overloads. I guess this could be the reason it needed a new motor with only so little use.
