I can't recommend Bosch highly enough. They are such workhorses and mine just goes on and on and on.

i was luking at a bosch the other day, the upper basket seems a bit wobbly to me, but i must admit i do like them, in currys there is a stainless steel siemens (bosch) for £350, what do you think of that? does this machine dry dishes with a fan?

Excellence comes as standard

Hi hotpoint_42,
I agree totally with Hoovermatic you can't go wrong with a Bosch dishwasher.

How about a Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer?

I haven't look closely at any dishwashers for ages 'cos mine is doing just fine. Mine was made in Germany and I am sure that I have heard that some Bosch appliances are made by other companies? Is that correct? Not sure what you mean by the basket being wobbly, in my experience all of the are a bit wobbly. I love the configuration on the baskets in my machine and would rather het a second hand one like mine than a new one that was different, if you know what I mean. Mine was second hand 6 years ago and still looks like it came off the showroom floor. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't have a 55 degree wash cycle. AS we do a lot of entertaining, I would be interested in a larger capacity machine (15 place settings) but the only one I can find is by Hoover

Bosch dishwashers are great. We left one at our old house because it was only a slimline one. Annoying as we had only had it a year. It washed and dried fantastically.

I am however very pleased with the Electrolux Insight we purchased for the new house. It cleans brilliantly and is very quiet. Its also fab being able to watch the action!!

Dont think you can get them now though :(

Below is the link to the video I made of ours not long after we moved in and had it installed.

Hy guys, I´m thinking about havin a new dishwasher too.
My AEG does only clean well when I´m adding manually some extra water.
