Those are nice! The very last of the rapid-advance timer washers and dryers. I have this set as well, although they are in a legal separation for the time being. I have the washer here, but the dryer is still in Don - jetaction's garage in Minneapolis. Soon they will be together...and what a happy reunion it will be!

The "good stuff" just keeps showing up in the Pacific Northwest doesn't it??

Am i right about tis or are they DD models,i really cant tell cause the washer looks so much like a WP BD model, with the lid. can anyone tell me what kinda tranny they have?

Gansky, Yes, I was thinking the same about it being in Oregon. I had that washer once in Almond in 2002. I don't remember the light though.

There are no KitchenAid belt-drive toploaders, they're all direct-drive machines. KitchenAid didn't start selling washers until *after* Whirlpool changed to the direct-drive design.
