No picture but a description like this might be worth a phone call.

I'm sure these will find a good home quickly in Southern California regardless of what they turn out to be.

Just to let everyone know I did contact this seller and was going to pick them up tommorow and he sent me an email this morning not wanting to sell them after all because he had done some "internet research" and recived alot of calls on em and will be putting them on the market at a later date. Im thinking he saw the $2000 pink set on ebay and thinks these are worth the same. What a bummer.

The "internet"...

Ya gotta love it, and hate it, don'tcha?

It was so much better before people could "research" and find out what a treasure it was they had...;-)

Too bad there's not some sort of rule that says you can't pull your offer to raise your price once you've done "research"...

I dont mind people finding out about what they own but they tend to think that any thing similar and over priced on the internet is worth thousands.

WENT FROM $150 SET TO $1800 OFFER OR BETTER AND THE WASHER IS NOT WORKING. IM JUST TRYING TO COLLECT MACHINES, THE LAST REPLY TO MY POST MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS TRYING TO RIP THE GUY OFF...LIKE I WAS PISSED THAT HE WAS LOOKING INTO HIS "TREASURE".. THATS NOT THE CASE JUST THAT IT WAS A ALMOST LAUGHABLE PRICE MARK UP- YA KNOW??
I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THE PRICE INFLATION WAS SILLY??

There really should be a small circle in Hell for people who post ads on Craigslist without pictures.

Looks like some of you have contacted the seller, what year are they anyway?

well,

I don't agree with inflating prices like that either, but quite frankly, if I have people beating down my door for something then might as well make a little money. To some extent that can be a downfall to posting these things on this forum. It's like dropping a fresh piece of meat into a room cage full of starving dogs. It's a shame that people get greedy but that's the way it goes. I personally will never pays that much for a machine no matter how badly I may want it. It's just a machine. Food for thought I guess. I just feel bad that my lead may have sabotaged someone's chance at getting this pair for a fair price. :-(

with this type of pricing of vintage appliances. However, I think once sold, then, SOLD. Don't go back and say OH OH OH, I need more money. Your cruzing for a bruzing if that had been me Mr. It would not have stopped with a damn email.

About the pricing. As Gyrafoam said once, " if you can afford it and want/need it, then by all means, buy it." I could not agree more. To set a price on something you really want to have is nonsense to me. Some of these sets have gone for much more and 1800 and by all means, good. The folks that wanted them got them.
