Did any one catch the Universal washer on Ebay? You all of course are aware, drooling on every word that I have posted on the VCCC, unable to wait for my next thread, know that I am rather fond of the Universal trademark. It seems that Landers Frary and Clark manufactured just about everything. Just wondered what any thoughts were on this Ebay machine. I don't want to buy it, just found it interesting. Besides, people who collect washing machines are, well, you know.

Hee hee... The same can be said for we vacuum collectors - and coffee pots, and Corning Ware, and Pyrex and... Did you mean the Universal wringer washer on ebay? That's the only one I've ever seen. If you do stumble across an automatic Universal, be sure to let our webmaster know immediately. The automatics were made by Apex and would have a bouncing wash-basket! |
