Well, this is my 2nd All push button Simpson Fluid Drive. This is the 1968 model with the woodgrain trim (not a favourite of many i know)

This machine is in full working order, only needs the lid to be re-sprayed and a good polish.

I also now have the matching side by side dryer.

Enjoy the pics.

Cheers
Leon

Nice machine, but what does fluid drive mean? Is the transmission on oleodinamic bearings? Also, what a strange tub!

Simpson

Hi Leon,
Congratulations on your vintage Simpson, it reminds me of some of the vintage Maytags. Very interesting wash tub is that a rubber or plastic liner?
I'll bet that agitator makes for some splashy wash action!

Agitator cap and dispenser placement seem familiar

Very Handsome Machine

Yes what material is the tub constructed of. What is the
black/brown circling the agitator? Very nice controls.

Very kool find! There is something about it that seems like a Hotpoint, yet the agitator is very Wizard.
Beautiful console.
Congratulations on your find!

What a beautiful machine and fully functional to boot!

Congratulations Leon. Lets hope that some more Simpson finds are uncovered and Solid State Fabulous would be nice.
