Hi all, I've been to Comet just the other day and although I first found them on their website, I've come across this washing machine from Haier.

It looks like a cross between an LG and an Indesit but it has plenty of features for not much money and makes a good alternative to the usual fodder from Hotpoint,Hoover,Indesit,Beko and even Bosch. They are it's main rivals of course!

There are 2 models with 1200 or 1400RPM spin and they come in white or silver.

I know Haier is a Chinese brand but if they're made in China and uses Indesit Company parts, it's likely that they sold the rights and tooling of their machines to them. I think I'm right in saying that, just correct me on this lol.

Still, I like those machines and reckon they'll sell well.

I wonder what everyone else thinks of them!

Here's a pic of it in white.

Alan, Thanks for the model numbers and pictures. You might Google Haier and the model number to find comments from users and ex-users. As with any appliance, the availability of service and parts is a major consideration in a proposed purchase and there have been some nightmares reported with Chinese appliances. Tom
