I remember all the posts about how horrid it would be if the Chinese bought the company, how Whirlpool would be a better choice, etc. When are we going to wake up an learn that big business doesn't give a , well you know, about the workers and shareholders? Maytag died because the young, dynamic managers were not supervised by the owners...and too many Americans have abandoned their unions, believing all the christianist and Republican crap which has come down the line. Wake up and smell the coffee folks or all the middle class jobs will soon be gone. |

If I never see another Maytag, it won't be too soon. Maytag sucks. I'm sorry for all the employees that lost thier jobs due to poor quality contol and design and above all, all those pinheaded CEO's at Maytag. |
