Re: Mum's Washer:

Hi! Jeff, what is the brand of your Mum's Washer? It looks like the Whirlpool Cabrio, is it? Maybe you could include an Innards Pix and the Controls?

Re: Your Whirlpool:

Hi! Jeff, forgive me for not commenting about your Whirlpool Washer. It looks like it has a pretty good level of Water it uses, even considering it being a newer Front-Load Washer. Does it have 3 or 4 Dispenser Selections for Detergent Pre-Wash and Main Wash, Bleach and Fabric Softener?

It looks like it is the Compact equivilent of the Over the Pond Model we have here in the US. The one available here is approx 2.5 cu.ft. Capacity, but I don't know what your measurement equivilent would be as well.

It looks like a very nice Washer and good Control Panel Selection. What is the highest Spin Speed? If you are able to show in RPM, is it at least 1000-RPM or faster? I've got a Compact LG Combo that has a 1400-RPM Spin, as well as 1000, 800 and 400 Spin Speeds, No Spin and Rinse & Hold selections.

Peace and Great Launday Washing with Whirlpools, Steve

What is that Top-Loading washer next to it? Is the Front-Loader a Duet/Dreamspace?

Josh,

Congratulations on the Whirlpool! They are fun machines. What are the push buttons for? Looking forward to your videos.

I had one of those :(

I had a 1992 Whirlpool AWM820 had 800rpm spin and 3 buttons

I miss it :(

was a good machine, loved the distibuting drains, before the spin :P

we had to get rid of it as my mum wanted a machine with a faster spin, they are very reliable. my dads friend has ours and its still going strong after all these years :)

we have a 2001 Zanussi now, 6 years old and its still going strong but you can't beat old philips engineering.

The washer next to it...

Hello all. The washer next to the Whirlpool is a Hoover Top loader. It is not fancy like a Cabrio or anything like that, it is an agitator washer that uses a full tub of water.

Josh congratulations on your Whirlpool! I think that even though this is several model cycles ago, it still a very good looking washing machine. I like the drum better than the one on the latest whirlpools! Have fun.
