Ron -

You should hear water when you turn the drum. That's perfectly normal.

Re: Water Slosh:

Hi! Ron, the Water Slosh sound that you hear in your Neptune Washer is normal. It is not actually Water, but some kind of a Liquid that is in the outer Ring around the Drum and it acts as a Counter-Balance, for when the Washer is Spinning, to attempt to try to keep the Tub well Balanced during Spinning. You probably won't hear it when the Washer is Washing and/or Rinsing, unless the Water has been pumped out. It will also be noticible when the Drum is slowing down from the Spin, towards the end, just before a complete stop of the Drum. I tired to see if you might have had an answer somewhere else, so I wouldn't repeat the Answer to you, so I'm guessing that I am the first to give you an answer. Good Luck with both Washers, I hope that this helped you with your inquiry/concern about the Water Sloshing sound.

Peace and Great Laundry times with your new Washers, Steve
