Hi guys Not quite sure where to put this so forgive me if it seems the wrong category. Washers have come in the most amazing colours, I only have a few pics and can imagine that some of those beauties from the US were like! Here are a few to start The Hotpoint Liberator range didn't look out of place in any 70s kitchen, with it's purple dials and deep purple door. A true classic, sadly missed. |

Im freaked out, not 2 hours ago was I sat face to face with MatchboxPaul having a beer or 3 talking about Hotpoint Cassatta, meaning "Ice Cream" in Italian. Then for this thread. These machines are rare, at least the last of the "Real Hotpoints" went out with great colours like the "First Automatic Hotpoints" came in with! Fab machines with sense of style, eco on the water and still cleaned superbly. Proud my Mum chose a 2ND hand WM62 to replace that Hoover we had.

RobM, the color scheme of the buttons for that Front-Loading Hotpoint is the same as Hoover3060's vintage April 15,1975 Top-Loader. And I'm sure he would say the same thing if he were still with us... |

Could we subject drift to post colored pics of modern appliances? |

er Funguy not sure where your going but any coloured washers can be posted here, I say this nicely. Wait your time please. We all need learn patience, for its a great virtue to possess. I believe in dont ask dont get, but your ceaseless asking for videos is taking its toll considering most of us work 40 plus hours a week and have family and other commitments in there too. Best not let this thread put anyone under pressure. Might take you a while to see what you want but the wait is worthwhile. Said my piece now. No offence meant. Rob

I blame Volkswagen - they had the Polo Harlequin with similar coloured panels. I wonder why they did it,and why those colours. Weird. That Smeg looks rather like a Gorenje. |
