Inside the Lady

She's a little Dirty...The cool thing is the console is lighted and so does the digital display..This may very well be the Last of the "lighted" Consoles on a Kenmore

1989-98 Lady Kenmore Direct-Drive Washer......

"Timonator":

And you'd be right. That washer was the last of the direct-drive Ladys that had the lighted console before the Kenmore Elite Catlyst came out in 1999 (the first TOL Kenmore T/L w/o a lighted console).

Yep..... She DEFINTELY needs a bath. Oh...... those aren't rust spots I am looking at in the back of that wash basket, is it????

It's a beautiful machine, though.......

That Thermador is a beauty...can you post some nice pictures of her?

Those timers are not difficult to rebuild/repair. And it's a completely unique machine with some pretty incredible cleaning power. No filters, 174 degree steam cycle, and lots of water use!! It loves throwing any lightweight items around during wash.
