went to my local thrift guy today that buys out homes where someone has moved or gone to a rest home and he told me he had a 60's frigidaire w/d that were like new. he turned on the dryer and as soon as he did the belt snapped. hopefully he will get me pix tomorrow wanted 100 bucks for the set said ist still ahd the stickers on it of course they r white ron |

Sounds like neither machine has been used much for a while. I'm making sure to run all machines at my mom's at least once a month since she's been in a nursing home. Nothing of much value but I still want them to work if somebody needs them to. Those Frigidaires sound like nice machines. Hopefully they won't need much more than a safety check, and it's not like you wouldn't have wanted to replace the belts yourself on them anyway. Hope you can post some pix after you get 'em. |
