Interpretting italian isn't my strong point, but i've managed to work out, their is a baby programme, a nighttime programme & a 15 "mix" Programme!

Interesting!

Hotpoint

Hi Darren,
Very interesting; to be honest though the current range like your WT960 are in my humble opinion better looking machines.
My engineers eye has spotted the Indesit Company drum assembly in these machines, I wonder does this spell the end for the GDA designed tub units? Or is production being moved from the UK to Italy? I hope not but it would not surprise me at all.

Can I help you? If someone of you would like to have something translated...let me have some spare time and I'll do it for you...maybe at end of the week...

Anywasy the control panel really remind me to some Electrolux (here sold with REX brand)

Or if there are some of my Italian mates available to do it...well, do it!

I actually really like the look of these machines! lol time will tell if its worth replacing the wt960 for! lol

Hey thanks for my italian friends for offering a translation, i'll see if i can paste some of the information on here and maybe one of you could interpret for us! Thankyoou

David-Yes indeed my keen eye too saw the indesitcompany drum. This was partly the decider for the 960, i knew a new range was coming up. But i thought, "what if they arent as good!?", all that kinda thing and one thing i wondered was, will the drum change.

I wouldnt mind to much, i quite like the design of the indesit drums, but its the whole thing of hotpoint disapeering isnt it! Though a 7kg indesit drum like the aqualtis's but in an ultima wouldn't be to bad either!

You do have to wonder though, with the basic first edition machine being entirely italian...what the future holds?

Darren

As some have said, they do look a bit freaky. Probably just take a bit of getting used to thats all. Give em time.

At the moment though, I much prefer the style of the current machines.

My parents WF740 will be in action later today - 1400 spin, but only ever does 800max. Thats my mum for you - she always spins things slloooowwhttp://www. Still, the bearings should last a bit longer. Hopefully anyway!

Cheers
Paul
