Can anyone give me any information about this washer? My Dad has had it for some time, and will be moving soon and isnt sure what to do with it.

Sears Lady Kenmore, Model 6502900J00, Stock 5290

Its in such nice original condition, must be worth a few bucks.

I might be interested in purchasing your Visimatic, if you're interested. Where in WI are you located?

Polkanut, I am just east of Madison, the washer is in Miwaukee. My Dad has bought a place near Oxford, (much closer to you) and I am sure we could get it to his place there.

Email me if youd like to work something out.

Just talked to the owner's son and it's mine. Just have to arrange a pick-up date. This baby looks sweet, hope this "Lady" runs as good as she looks.

It's probably only the power cord but at first blush, I could have sworn that it was the pipe someone mentioned that fascilitates the spray rinse.

Has anyone ever seen the Visimatic Spray Rinse Wringer?

Please answer soon because after tomorrow the prospects of finding out are very grim.

Does this unit has the tub mounted lint filter or the one that's on the lid?

Hi Lar / Hi Phil

It's the tub-mounted filter which is a blast because you can use it as a fill port.

Very interested in your machine. Have been unsuccessful in finding a timer for mine for over a year. Half the fun is missing when the Visi isn't automatic. Check your e-mail. Thanks. I could give mine to one of the gifted ones who could MAKE a timer.

Have you tried sending in your timer to be rebuilt? That's a fairly simple wind-up timer in that washer, I think the one I had was rather fussy as well.

The timer might actually work; it's the spindle that was broken off when I got her causing the trouble.
So the beautiful chrome control dial that wonderful John Coldspot66 sent me, rests nicely in the panel, very pretty but non-functioning.

If you get a chance, would you tell me where to send it.

If I only had 1/100 th of your skill and knowhow, how sweet it would be.

Skill? Nope, just plodding along like everyone else!

Try contacting Vincent at Reeco Timer Co. in Palm Bay FL 321-952-1889. He'll probably know what to do.

Neighbor's Visimatic

Mickey,
I will try to catch him. I think he is travelling this week, but the washer is going nowhere. He is not a collector, but has a good eye for value. I sent you an email with my cell phone. It sounds like a match, you two just have to agree on a price.
