Were these machines reliable? I at least canīt imagine they were. |

Yes. Mechanically, they were excellent machines. However they have their flaws. The washer has a design problem in the tub where the archie paddles join the tub at the back. There is a pinch point that likes to grab threads and pull them. I have several shirts and towels that are frayed around the edges thanks to the Nexxt.

Only one FL I have own has ever destroyed anything. That was the Bosch. The Frigidaire FL didn't. The Whirlpool duetHT didn't. Only the Bosch. I am looking for a front loader that doesn't have plastic paddles but ones that are part of the basket. The Miele and Speed Queen are the only two that fit that bill. MRB |
