and the matching DE806 dryer. sorry Leon, this was as close as I could get. These are buried in the last row for safe keeping.

Norge Dryer

Does everyone recognize that this is the matching dryer to the Norge washer POD we call the pornographic washer ad--ya know the one with all the kids in their undies?

Norge Dryer!

Many years ago I had a Aunt that had what looked like the exact match to this dryer. It was the last solid tub Norge washers before they came out with the larger 15 pound tub. And the washer had a back opening lid. I was dying to see it run but never did.
Best Of Luck with it,
Peter

Is that a "14"? If so, then it does match the 14 lb. perforated Norge washer I'm referring to in the ad.

I just love that Mondrian inspired control panel on the Norge. Monochromatic colorblock division. It really looks sleek and smart. Great, great find. I would love to see the matching washer!

Matching washer -

You mean this spec sheet? 1963, first of the perf-tub Norges. They still made the solid tubs (standard capacity) for a couple of years though.

It looks like there is a 14 next to the "Norge" lettering on the right side of the panel.

Notice the temp, speed, water level knobs are different on the spec sheet picture than what's on the dryer temp selector knob. that could stioll be the original temp knob on the dryer, the part you grabbed to turn the selector looks exactly like what was the pointing handle on the sliding water level lever or our Norge15 washer.
