If I were guessing... I would guess that it is the thermal fuse, which would fail in the case of a blockage in the vent duct. The thing is that I don't guess...I follow the path of power with my volt/ohm meter and find where the break in the circuitry is. I used to love selling parts to fellows that try to guess ($$$) | ||

If it is the thermal fuse, the dryer should still run, but without heat. At least that is what mine did when I had to replace it. | ||

Here's Product Documentation for 84082
From Electrolux site. "Parts manual" has circuit diagram as well as parts drawings.
