Is it true that the ARISTON brand is being phased out in favor of HOTPOINT. given the choice id pick ariston rather than hotpoint. they can't let a historic brand like ariston be dumped for hotpoint. ARISTON has always in my opinion been a better brand than hotpoint and i think it was a stupind decision br merloni/indesit to take on hotpoint. what does everyone else think. long live ARISTON.........and on....and on.....and on. |

I suspect they'll be Hotpoint-Ariston for a while. Then they'll drop hotpoint again. It's quite a common strategy to merge in a brand. |
