here's the tub shot!

Here's the inside! It looks like rust in the bottom of the tub, but I think it's just dirty and not rusty. Mark

I think that was when GE was calling the agitator the Thriftivator. OTOH, maybe it was not GE, but someone used the term.

GE called their agtitator the ACTIVATOR, Hotpoint used the term Thriftivator for theirs.......perhaps since the companies were closely associated, the same marketing men dreamed up these great names......!

The fins extend beyond the plate the same way they do in the first GE Automatics which makes for very powerful turnover.
