Knob Mobile

I would make some mobiles out of them a la Alexander Calder.

I've got about 5 similar boxes of knobs, but for ranges.

WOW!!!!

What a collection of knobs and dials. Whoever assembled that collection was either an avid Kenmore/Whirlpool fan or a used dealer that has dealt exclusively with the same.

About all I see there are Kenmore/Whirlpool knobs and dials.

Looks like some fun evenings by the fire going through that box! I brought home a few boxes from my local Launderall Dealer - they were so much fun to go through. They make great refrigerator magnets too!

prior to installing these on restored washers, you ought to display them in some way. You could take them and mount them on a translucent board with LED or fluorescent back lighting to make the clear plastic edges glow and the chrome glisten. That would make for a really cool, retro artsy looking panel to display in your laundryroom or anywhere in the house!
