A question to you all. Were Amana's made around the year 2000, sisters under the skin to Speed Queen's made then, before Maytag bought them, and then Whirlpool bought Maytag. |

Have they adjusted cycle times on the newer models? I thought I ready they had lengthened them to give longer washing times, now 20 min.? I like the construction features of this washer - all stainless steel, simple controls, etc. Here is a video that Jeff in MD posted last year of his SQ - the previous, smaller-door model.
