It's a stereo slide. You put in the viewer and look at the 3D image.

And here's another slide of a washer fromt the same site - anyone know what brand it is? Hint: It's not a GE.

That's a very odd picture. First of all its an early ????? (wont give it away yet, but it has a movable pump).

But what is so strange is it appears this picture is taken from the side of the machine, which means the cabinet has a big "display" hole cut into the side of it.

The baseplate looks like Whirlpool/Kenmore. The view appears to be from the the left side based on the toe-kick at the right.

Do a search for washer, washing machine, dryer, etc. and you'll find more of these slides at the previous link. Quickly though - the longer I look, the more I'm tempted...

Interesting! I don't know much about Speed Queen history, but wouldn't have figured them to have a moveable pump

moveable pumps

Ne meither, I thought the pre-filtering WP/KM machines were the only ones that had a moveaable pump.

I didn't buy the Whirlpool machine with the side panel cut out, but I did get a Hotpoint (Beam design with front panel off) an Apex Wash-A-Matic display slide and a Dexter automatic display. Don't know who bought the others, but I bet I can guess...
