Be careful in picking it up--NE DC isn't a real safe neighborhood.

Where in DC is safe?

You have to choose your battles. NE is a lot better than it used to be. I'd pick it up myself but I've got a bit of the flu right now.

About Washington, D. C.???

"tolivac":

And as a resident of Washington, D. C., and not far from Northeast (I happen to live in Northwest), I highly take offense to that statement.

If anyone whose in the market for a used Maytag washer right now, feel free to answer the ad if you desire to do so.

The times I lived in Wash DC area NE was an area to avoid.Glad its now better-didn't want to offend anyone though.I am sorry.I went to a workplace in SW DC,near the Mall.Used to have luch breaks on the Mall at one time.At present haven't lived in DC area for at least 7 years.I am glad some things have changed.-Like NE area getting better.
