Hello! Merry Xmas and happy new year first off all. It's now a year (maybe more) that Miele launched their big mieles? I know that one of our members have one. Maybe there are more. I can't find much reviews about them.. so I'm asking to everyone who has a big miele... How are they doing? Besides the bosch nexxt washers and dryers are now launched in europe so maybe the big mieles are comming over too!

I have them. I have the W4800 washer and the T9800 dryer. They are doing well and to me worth every penny. The washer washes very well and does hold alot of laundry in a load. Miele claims that its equal to a 4.0 cu ft washer. Its not anywhere near that I think. It does hold as much as the Neptunes that I have in Massachusetts. The only thing that I wish it had was a screen to let me know how much time was left in a load. I know the 4840 has it but I didnt want to cough up another 300 bucks for that screen and cycles that I wouldnt use.
The dryer is awesome. Very Very fast and doesnt shrink anything. Its also an HE dryer and uses less energy than any other dryer I have used. The load as it drys doesnt get hot. Its very hard to describe. Its very much like a warm breeze flowing thru the drum at a high speed. The dryer has a sensitive sensor system thats very effective.
The dryer also is not the quietest. When I first got the dryer I thought ...wow this is loud ....but after having it for a few months now I dont notice it anymore. Like anything else you do get used to it. The one thing I wish that Miele had done with the dryer is make it bigger. At 6.36 cuft its ample for most loads but for really large loads like jeans it could stand to be a cubic foot bigger. But thats the only gripe I have.
Would I buy these again...yep I certainly would.
