but I'm looking at the Repair Master for the Unimatic and Pulsamatic, did you check the trip shaft lever spring? |

It doesn't sound like the brake shoes are engaging the sides of the transmission housing properly and are allowing it to turn. You can also check to make sure the springs are properly seating themselves. (There isn't a trip-lever on the multimatic - that's a unimatic. That repair master gets a little too blended trying to cover both mechanisms in the same book.) |
