the article says "although Indesit scored 92% for reliability, only 24% of their owners would recommend their dryer to a friend" In contrast Miele at the top scored 94% for reliability and Hotpoint, at the bottom scored 86% for reliability - so in terms of the driers, there isnt too much in it really |

Strange about that - both Hotpoint and Indesit dryers are made in the same factory (same parts too I guess) in Yate a few miles away from those of us in Bristol... |

Our consumer magazine called Choice, is releasing their current results for 43 washers in the January edition as well, so I am looking forward to getting it and having a look, however it usually tends to be a bit predictable with front loaders coming out on top, actually some time ago I e-mailed them to ask why they do not include twintubs in these tests and the reply was that because so few people have or would buy them, they are not worth including, I almost cancelled my sunscription but then I thought about it, and actually I do enjoy reading it, so I guess I will just have to keep the benefits of a twinnie to myself L.O.L.L.O.L. Cheers folks. Steve |
