Re: Kenmore Dryer Problem:

Hey! Ron, you might want to check the Circuit Breaker, then take the Dryer apart, to check the Heating Element. It might have had something happen to the Heating Element, but just enough to trip the Circuit Breaker 1/2 way. This would mean that the Dryer is actually only running on 110-Volts, instead or 220-Volts.

Be sure to push the Breaker Switch totally off, using a little force and then again with a little force, pushing the Breaker Switch totally on again. Be sure also to unplug the Dryer, before checking on the Breaker and checking the Heating Element, as well as just "FYI" check the whole Dryer and the Venting System out as well. There might even be an extensive amount of Lint Collected in the Vent Tubing. If the Vent Tubing is of the older Plastic Flex Tubing, be sure to replace it with the newer sturdy Flex Tubing.

I hope that this helps you, good luck with checking out the Breaker and the Dryer. Please let us know what you do find out as to why the Dryer wasn't operating properly.

Peace, Great Laundry Drying with a Kenmore Dryer, Steve
