Does anyone know why these Maytag buttons come off so often? My LA 208 had one missing (now replaced, thanks to the miraculous Kenny, a.k.a. goatfarmer), and most vintage 'Tags seem to have one gone. I've looked at them very carefully, and THERE'S JUST NOTHING TO GO WRONG WITH THEM, unless people are pulling them off. What's up with this? Anyone know? |
