Great pics Darren thanks for taking the time to get them up here for us!

I love my Hotpoint however I do wish it had an extra rinse button!! Also it hates spinning straight away, even with balanced loads.... recently its being super pernickety like a samsun and just is refusing to spin first time!

You ever been annoyed at your Hotpoints OOB sensor!?!

Dan,
Do you find your hotpoints usually alright with 2 rinses? The out of balance sensor sometimes drives me crazy, but thankfully its not been as bad as my old samsung, which used to take 20minutes to balance for a interm spin!!!! If my hotpoint ever got like that it too would have to go!

Hope y'all enjoy the pics, i missed the spin, hence theirs no picture lol.

but....

...that is only 1/3 of what the machine could take!
Isn't that a waste of powder and energy?
Or is it because it's a no-iron/wash'n'wear/perma-press-cycle?

Ralf,
Its a fastwash programme, 1hour in duration, with a maximum load of 3.5kg!

Hey Darren, I love your new Hotpoint, it looks fantastic, especially in the graphite colour scheme lol.

I noticed that they wash very differently to my old WMA-series Hotpoint, despite the fact that it uses the same parts and same drum. I still don't get it why the back holes have been blocked out lol, the drum looked good with them.

I quite love watching the vids of the hand-wash wool programme on Youtube, it's a lot of fun. If I had it for myself, I'd probably use that for most of the time lol.

By the way, great pics, I bet that load got nice and clean. I'm still waiting in vain for the new models to come out lol. Hands up for an Aqualtis tumble dryer? I can't hardly wait lol.

Happy Washing!

hi
my wma58 hotpoint 6kg does do a wool programme with fast tumbles. on mine it is called machine washable wool programme H. Check if yours is same?
it also does fast tumbles for about 1 minute on cotton programmes every ten minutes or so after heating.
thanks

Is this a new Ariel re-brand ?

My most recent box of Ariel colour tablets in Ireland has Turn to 30 and an Ariel logo on a stylised temp. control knob.

What's different with the Pure Clean version?

Also, I have to put up some pics of my Silver 1600spin 8kg aqualtis. It's a pretty interesting machine in action. quite different to the ultima in terms of wash action etc.

Also, it runs a deep water shirts cycle where it fills up to 1/3 way up the door for the wash!

2 hotpoint rinses...

My indesit does only 2 rinses, albeit high rinses! First half of the rinse slow tumbles then high water and normal tumble! I always put everything through another set of rinses to get the best results.
I do like the distribution speed pulses on programme 3 cottons. I think it does make a difference to the wash. Just wish the rinses were flexible!

I agree Peter. Program 3 on the Indesit is the best but oh could we do with an extra rinse button . Nice high water and action though on the two it does. I'm gonna run the machine through another set of rinses as well.

Hi Darren

Glad you are happy with this machine. I miss my WD640 really! I used to use this program all the time. What's interesting is that if you press the reduce creases button the spin is even more gentle than the synthetics program.

On mine with 40 selected it used to take about 25 minutes to do the wash part.

Rob
