Hi Guys. Does any member have a wizard machine? Would be very happy to see any pictures. Am intrigued buy the lint filter and look of the agitator. Thank you in advance. Mark x | ||

Those are good washers....Mom had a Wizard Citation when I was younger and she loved it. It did a wonderful job on the clothes..we also had an avocado green Wizard Citation refrigerator for about 15 years til the compressor finally went out in it. Too bad you dont see many of them anymore | ||

Well, the Franklin transmission lives on in my TL Frigidaire. Unfortunately, the machine's agitator isn't up to the task of efficiently turning over a load in its large tub. Part of the reason I bought the Frigidaire was to have that old school transmission, knowing that, eventually, they'll be phased out. The company can't continue to lower the maximum water level in order to meet water/energy federal mandates forever! I know two people locally with Frigidaires from the late 80s-early 90s and they're daily drivers. Maybe mine will last that long, too. I had an '87 Frigidaire for about a year and it was already to the point where it wouldn't start spinning until almost half the water had drained. At the time, I blamed the transmission; maybe it was a loose belt issue or something. | ||
