A good find - a good price - mine was a lot more than that and I paid $50 just for another fluid drive unit to replace the original one which developed a leak, and caused slipping. Yes, they are VERY heavy, but if on a solid surface, will not move at all. If you remove the two screws at the top of the control panel, you can expose the whole of the timer, etc workings. It's a bit of a rat's nest! There will be date stamped on the back of the timer unit. Mine is June 1967. Hopefully you'll be able to get it out of the garage one day! |
