Just for the complete hell of it, I went to view the different types of manuals that are in .pdf format, and saw the one for the '57 Frigidaire. I now remember that we had the Imperial model.

Man, you talk about bringing back some memories...looking at that sure did.

Bill, you've only just scratched the surface here. Welcome and enjoy yourself! There are tons (literally) of great people here to provide info and assistance on appliances of all types. I suspect you'll find yourself over on the "Super" forum most of the time.
