I need to replace the inner bellows on my 1966 Rollermatic. I cannot remove the nut on the pulsater, to remove it. I ended up removing the pulsater and shaft assembly from the bottom.
I need to be able to remove the pulstater nut from the pulsater so I can replace the bellows, and reattach them. Does anyone have an exploded view of this assembly? If so, please post it here so I know how this thing comes apart. I do not want to risk damage to anything, as I know replacement parts are rare to find for these machine. Have put the shaft in a vise and tried to loosen the nut to no avail.I do not want to crank too hard on something and break it.

Thank you. <:

how different is this from the 1967 WCIL mechanism? I'll send you pictures of mine in a pictorial exploded view

Dave, I think the 67 is the same as the 66 as far as this is concerned. All I need is the exploded view of how the pulsator attaches to the shaft, so I can figure out how to remove the pulsator. Thank you

Here ya go...

I put mine back together for ya while I'm working on the mechanism, so this should be a pretty good visualization....

remove the two cones and you will reveal....

The rubber pulsator. This is held in place by a nut with a retaining washer.

Lift off the pulsator....

and it will reveal the Water Bellows. The bottom of this bellows is held on by the retaining ring at the base of the inner tub. Use the bellows clip remover or you can use a c-clamp like I did.

Here's the C-Clamp Method

I'm using a C-Clamp that I filed grooves into to keep the clamp from slipping off.

Carefully remove the Water Bellows trying not to tear or pun

and it will reveal the Oil Bellows. Again it is held in place at the base with a retaining ring (C-Clamp method again) around the upper portion of the tub nut.

At this point...

remove the oil bellows from the tub nut and the bellows should just come right up. Mine did not have a nut holding it down.

Please let me know if this helps you out.

Davy

Please let me know if there is anything else you need a picture of. Mine will be in a state of disassembly for a bit while I get the unit as close to 100% as I can.

Good luck buddy

Dave
