I've had 2 Frigidaire dishwashers in the past 5 years. My new machine (which has a baby spray arm mounted to the top of the tub, spraying downward) does a better job of cleaning the tops of cups, glasses and the back of soup ladles---things like that---than my old machine. I think the downward-spraying mini arms are there more to rinse away particles from the tops of items in the top rack as opposed to actually doing any 'scrubbing'. |

I have used a few different types of DW. 70's GE potscubber, 80's Kitchen Aid Superba and our current Frigidaire Gallery. with the KA we always seemd to have sand as we call it on the con-cave bottoms of glasses, The GE was the best for clean glasses and the Frigidaire is quite good at the bottom cleaning also. DW without the spay I think do tend to leave the gunk on the bottoms.
