Hi all, just thought I'd share this, It's a pic from a U.K. published book, by Good Housekeeping, theres a washer at the rear of the kitchen...behind the built-in mincer/grinder.

Hi, from the look of it I would say it it is a Parnall Spinwasher from 1963..This was a semi-automatic washer.
