None of these above.
Just replace the pump.

Nine out of ten that would be the problem with the Direct Drive machines.

Maybe they should check the electrical connections for leaks!

Today I was in our local ACE hardware store and this old guy comes in with one of those universal remote controls. He wanted to return it. When the check out clerk asked him why he wants to return it he said "It doesn't work with our dryer!". No lie. A remote control dryer.....

it's very useful when you want to watch the dryer.
I would love it with my Electrolux EcoTurbo dryer.

channel 101 blue shirt
channel 102 green shirt
channel 103 white boxers
channel 104 yellow socks

and of course with TiVo, so i can schedule the movie Laundry Stories - The Hot and Wet Romance.

chapter 1

The yellow pants fall (tumble) in love with the blue shirt, but Mrs. Scarf doesn't accept it and start a plan with Mr. Sweater and Ms. Towel to let their love full of lint).

speaking of pumps

I have an HE4t washer. I had felt that, for a while now, the machine made kind of a weird rattling sound when the pump would turn on. I decided I would investigate today. I opened up the pump chamber underneath and found and ink pen was in it! Still trying to figure out how the heck that got down in there! (It's a bit quieter now to say the least.)

Damn, there is nothing worse than a leaky belt.

sure there is!

a leaky power cord..
but you can use it to take a shower every time you unplug the washer.
