Well I got the New Cabrio washer and dryer yesterday, and I must say that I am really impressed. Its quiet and gets clothes really clean, even Ryans dirty work clothes. The 4.5 cubic ft. tub is large enough to wash a queen size blanket with the sheets. I also like the 7 cubic ft. dryer. Its nice to be able to dry clothes in the same amount of time it takes to wash a load. So I think I made a wise purchase and im totally happy with it, well I would like to see whats going on inside but the lid locks so i cant :o( oh well.

Mike, which Cabrio model did you get?

The lid switch is magnetic and can be bypassed, according to what I've read, by placing a strong magnet on the front top edge of the washer, adjacent to where the latch is under the lid. I should mention we were not able to get this trick to work on our Cabrio 6200, at least in the few days we had the washer before returning it.
