I juuuuuust love

sellers (ebay, CL, elsewhere) who do not include simple, useful information like "electric" or "gas," or a model number.

Don't even get me started about colours. "Off-white" for Almond, "yellow" (pronounced "yallah" on the 'phone) for Harvest Gold, "aqua" for Turquoise (aqua is much lighter than turquoise), "avacadah" (again on the 'phone) for any green whatsoever (you'd think Martha Stewart had opened people up to the possibility of jadite green), and my personal favourite 'phone description, "I think it used to be that Coppertone stuff (at least they knew about Coppertone), but it musta faded or somethin', somehow."

The refrigerator in question was a Poppy Frigidaire. In pristine condition.

It's late 1970s, maybe early 1980s.

Actually it's early 1980's model. It was in 1979 when they disposed of the plastic control dial.
