Hi :)
Ocean is a division of Brandt Appliances, you can have a look at the Italian version of the company website at www.ocean.it...
It looks like a very basic brand, something like the modern IGNIS has become after the Whirlpool takeover.

Ocean

I seem to remember that they had a dishwasher that cleaned its wash filter cyclonically (the way the water swirled about the filter), and a washing machine with a recirculation pump.

The washing machine's pump outlet was at the bottom of the tub, and thus sprayed upwards, into (and probably through) the perforated inner drum, according to the diagram in the brochure.

Hoover's 'Quattro' had the pump outlet nozzle built into the doorseal around about the 8 O'clock position.

Zanussi had their nozzle at the 12 O'clock point.

Titan had their version on the drum shaft/bearing position, with tubes leading to the perforated lifter/paddles.

Maybe the diagram was correct; then again, maybe not. I've seen such-like 'technical stuff' before, from other makers, and in some cases is blatantly wrong. Almost as though the prototype design was altered after the brochures were printed. Or maybe the artist was ill-informed!
