The ALmond Hotpoint has mine and Pauls name on I think..... its only 2 miles from me LOL!

One of the models we want too to have a bit of something from each generation of Hotpoint.

Cheers Mark for pointing this out to me.

The AEG is back on. Now then 7 years old they say hmm so it was made in about 2001! erm now then which time warp were they in when they thought that? I'd like to be 7 years old too but again i'm pushing the reality a bit lol

Deffo smitten by that Electra...

noticed both the Electra and the servis last night.

Have always wanted a black facia creda - in the absence of one of those, maybe this electra would do. will have to have a think. what would Terry and June advise me to do?

also, that servis is in the town where me and rob were on sunday and which is about 15 minutes drive from my parents!

oh flippin heck - things might be about to get expensive.

Paul

Paul no probs at all, it's great to share!

I definately think you should get the Creda/Electra, I love that machine and it's so rare. It's a bit far for me! It looks like it has the old style dial which was on the square door versions. That is one of my favorite childhood machines. They really take off if I remember correctly.

Hi Rob.

Always liked them as a child, but never encountered one working, apart from the Microelectronic - see below, with the diddy programmer and all the buttons.

We will have to see what happens - that servis price will probably head for the hills!

Just to let you guys know - the Zanussi Z70 dishwasher earlier in the thread - tis mine! Hopefully will be picking up either this friday evening or saturday morning.

Paul

Wow, some very smart deals were had.

In particular thought the INDESIT that sold for 99 pence was a good deal. lol.

Paul, lucky to save the wood panel front Zanussi dishwasher. And it sounds like it was in very good condition. It would have been ashame for it to end up in a skip.

I like they ad copy and the display style itself.

WARNING WARNING WARNING !!!!!!

Dont quite know what I have done to deserve the following three doses of bad luck, but let the latter act as a warning for future ebay purchases!

bad luck 1 - the scrapping of my aunts Hotpoint 9530, after I was told I could have it.

bad luck 2 - the advertising for sale of another 9530 in Nantwich, only for this to be removed as a picture posted in error.

and finally.....

bad luck 3 - had a gutting text message from the seller of that Zanussi Z70 this morning.
Last night the machine was stolen, from outside her house, probably by bastard scrap thieves (apolgies for the lingo, but that is what they are!).
Today has been truly awful, knowing that such an immaculate piece of kit has a) been stolen and b) was probably crushed today.

Just thought I would post this as a warning for people to ask sellers to guarantee the security of your purchases. Believe me - the fury and upset I have felt today I would not wish on anyone.

But, as Mike told me earlier on, I have got some great stuff and I will get over it.
Tomorrow is another day and I cant wait for it to arrive!

a very sad.
Paul

Telling myself off now...

Pull yourself together Paul!!!!!!!

I have just been given that fantastic D6018 Matchbox dryer - have some other great bits and pieces and a Hotpoint 95620 that works!

Everything back in perspective - I am fine with the world again.

Nevertheless - heed the warning and always ask for yur purchases to be taken indoors.

Happy buying ahead.
Paul

Jetsystem 1200

THis model was the one my Mothers, Mother had after her Hoover Logic 1300 clapped out when it was around 3/4 years old or so.

Its probably still going today but I dont know for sure as I dont have contact with her.

I wish I could find a Mark 1 Jetsystem 'heat exchanger' machine with the old 80s style drum. They seem few and far between. FJ1011 anyone?

Tom.
