Hey Jed, I have no idea how that linkage hooks up between the lever and the transmission. I would examine that whole area first, otherwise yes you are gonna have to repair the transmission. Obviously you would need a new part or two which only could come from another good working machine. At that point you might as well just swap the whole transmission than trying to fix the old one. Keep watching Minneapolis Craiglist, those old Gray Ghosts are a dime a dozen on there. |
