The racks are in pristine condition too...I couldn't believe it! no broken tines, no rust...and the vinyl coating still bright blue. I put water in it and ran it and everything appears to work fine! The motor purrs and all valves, indictor lights, etc all work. The only thing I could imagine is that this machine may have belonged to someone who never used it...and perhaps they sold the home and the new owners may have decided to replace all the appliances. This model is one of my favorites...it is packed with features. I truly stumbled on this by shear coincidence...and luck! |

How could anyone send something like that to the crusher??? That's just sinful. Beautiful machine. It will probably serve you very well for many years to come. |

Steve - does that machine heat to a delayed 140 degrees for the wash or not? I can't remember. |

Oh well, women....what can you do? Give her the new one that's out in the garage in the box. See what she thinks about that one. |

That is exactly what I'm hoping to find in order to replace the Maytag at my mom's old place. Maybe I need to start cruising behind Lowe's and HD for similar machines. They are out there, I know, and your find confirms it. I think I'll never want anything but a KA machine. I've been spoiled by the 22 model I've enjoyed for the past 18 years without any repairs or problems. The KA's are timeless and will fit in with any kitchen, but if people who are remodeling don't think so, let's not tell them!
