Well, I sent the timers off both the 1955 Kelvinator washer & dryer to the above company in Cambridge, Ontario last week. Today I got an email stating that they cannot repair either one. Funny thing is that the dryer timer is really just a clockwork timer made by the Lux Company and just needed to be cleaned. The 3 contacts worked, it's just that you had to put a little pressure on the dial to start the timer ticking. So I think I'm going to beg Reeco Timer in Florida to check them out. I'll keep the club informed. Rich |
