Today I was looking at a house and as I entered the basement what do I see off to my right, the washer and dryer.
I had to do the look twice thing. There next to the double concrete, slant front laundry tub was a white mid to late 70s Frigidaire washer and late 90s Maytag dryer. Unusally level and spaced parallel to one another.
Both being white and they are still in use.

The washer looks fairly top of the line as it has 4 cycle selector knobs to the left of the main timer. I honestly did not look at it in such detail. I did lift the lid and inside found the gray/blue plump "activator" (up and downy thing sounds so elementary and reveals my true 4th grade edumucation).

Anyway, if anyone is interested, I feel confident that a deal could be had here as this was a rental property (a 2 unit). No real attachment I would think, and I know the owner.

I am going to take another look on Sunday and could snap some photos and possibly get the model # if anyone is interested. (I need to know where the tag would be). This is in Madison, WI.

I've attached a borrowed pic from Marks- LightedControls collection of approx. what it looks like. (Hope you don't mind me using your pic) It is similar to the 2 in front, not the turquoise model.
