That is an oldy! How did they wring the clothes out? Or did these have a spinner of some sort?

The seller falsely advertises it as a spindryer instead of a washer.
To have a seperate spinner was very common here. Some also had hand wringers on top of the washer. Power wringers were considered dangerous and therfore rather the exception.

Thanks for posting! I have seen several of those on display in appliance stores here, apparently the 155 was a very well built model, perhaps even better than other models. I have never seen one with a whitish agitator though, all the models I have seen until now had a dark red agitator.

Here's a picture of the 155 with power wringer.

wonder what the turnover would have been like??? White Consolidated Industries used a similar agitator design and it didn't turn clothes over well at all...

I would love to see one of those at work with a load of clothes. It's a very wide machine compared to other Miele models.
