This is a unique item. a sink and dishwasher combo. Though you likely can install any standard size dishwasher into it, its quite cool. Wish I was closer to Raleigh.
Anybody know about these things?

Very cool - disposer, hot water dispenser and dishwasher. KitchenAid carried these in their line until the 18 series, I think. It must have been a bear to move that!

So far, I've owned two houses equipped with this sink/dishwasher combo. Both of mine had stainless steel tops and were from the mid 70's.

that is so cool....

This is the first set I remember ever seeing. Maybe they're not as common in the South as in other places, I don't know.

David (cycle monitor) emailed this to me showing the 19 series with a combo sink/dishwasher still offered. Beautiful - they don't make them like this anymore!!

KDS19!

My Mom had the KDS19 for 25 years. Really great machine. I remember they made the sink combo through the 20 series. I once remember seeing a brochure. The 19 and 20 series looked a lot alike - but in the 20 series they put back the dryer heater.

KDS19 Series!

Actually to my knowledge only the KDS18 model was offered in SS as a option. The 19 series did not offer that, but with the no heat dry that would have been a great feature.
