I found an Asko top of the line set on ebay and got them for $150!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 4 prong cord did not fit the 3 prong outlet they have.So they bought another pair????????Anyway,he's on his way as I write this and tomorrow,I'll pick up a 3 prong plug to replace the 4 prong on the unit and check the pair out.

They're here The gut who brought them knows nothing on how to move appliances. He grabbed them by the control area and the control panel on the washer popped open, the dispenser tray cover broke off and now needs to be replaced and one of the wires for the on light popped out of the socket. He seamed in a hurry so we got the set on my patio and he left! Forgeting his money.I have neither seen nor have I heard from him since!!! I wasn't going to give him the $150 we agreed on but I wasn't expecting him to go without me paying him something.Oh well,I guess this was meant to be.I now need to go get that cord for the dryer and charge these bad boys up. Washer model is W640 dryer model is T760 The washer's top spin speed is 1600 RPM!!! The dryer is a vented NOT condensor type. The use and care guides, stacking kit and quick directions sheet were in the dryer along with the WARRANTY CARDS!!!! I wonder if I should dare to send in those warranty cards? What do you think? Na!I'll just leave them in the books. |

Crazy, surely it would be far cheaper and easier to get a new 4-prong socket outlet installed than buy a new washer and dryer ! |

Well guys, here's the latest. Are you ready? I switched the cord and plugged the dryer in.There are 4 set programs.I pressed #1,nothing.I pressed #2 and it came on,heated and stayed on about 15 minutes then cooled down and went into a pre set 60 minute wrinkle free program in cool air for 10 seconds every minute. As it went through this program, wordage kept appering in the window's read out showng the 4 programs and options available.Only program 2 would actualy work.I went and got the washer.I had to use the emergency cord to open the door. There were some nasty women'a garments in there and the smell of mildew.I plugged the washer in,pressed the controls and the entire board disintigrated in front of me.I imediately phoned the seller and told him to come and take these back.Fortunately,I had printed out the info listed on ebasy which said these were "in good working order" from which they are a severe distance in deed. He'll be here tomorrow after 1PM to pick them up.
