Just done a trawl.....

and I missed that one Darren!

Your instruction is duly noted and will be seriously considered!

Me and Rob are running short on room ourselves, but I am deffo smitten!!!!!

not promising anything, but we will seriously consider it - a basic, interim series machine - the Hoover A3146 Autocare 800.

Cheers for drawing attention.
Paul

Ah glad i could be of assistance paul! lol! You could always give me your hotpoint if your bored of it:P LOL!

Better yet i'll swap you my hotpoint for it?!:D LOL. Okay. Thats not very likely!

Darren

assistance always appreciated Darren, but in return for a new generation - not on yer nelly! LOL

would appear that permission for a rescue bid/attempt has been sanctioned and there is a bit of space available - me and rob will try our best to get it.

fingers crossed - but there will be a financial limit, so we will have to wait and see what happens!

in the meantime....

not long left on this auction!

Like your good self, Gary, I was very smitten with that Logic dryer (see 1st post above) - had it been near me, I would have been sorely tempted - quite high in the model lineup and in great condition. here's hoping it has gone to a good home!

there is another one going - a white one...

I'm hoping down to my local house clearance place shortly, as there was a 95series 800rpm 95series machine there a week or so ago. I nearly crashed my car! lol. Followed by a trip to the local recon shop. Full of old WM hotpoints with the occasion new gen gem! All this while chewing indesitcompanys ears off on the phone! lol.

Hi Guys.

re: the Autocare.

Have just seen the price that that Autocare is going for - has well and truly busted the budget that i/we are willing to pay for it so, although it pains me to say it, we wont be bidding on it.

Just wanted to let you guys know, just in case anyone was holding off bidding themselves on the assumption that me and Rob would be bidding to win.

Good luck if you plan on bidding on it, or already have - it looks great and i really hope it goes to a collector who will appreciate it.

Cheers
Paul

Hoover 1100 on ebay

electron1100's profile picture
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR the pair have both gone!!!!! some B.....d has nipped in an bought both of them.

Well i dont blame them........bloody lovely machines.........both seamus and myself have one.......

I bought a Hoover Service book from Mark (thanks a lot Mark) and it covers the computer control 1100, one thing this machine has that i wasnt aware of is "out of balance" spin control circuitry......well the forward thinking boffins at hoover........so when i get a chance, im going to play with it and see if i can trick it into action, if senses o-o-b load it just reverts to distrubution tumbling

Another thing struck me recently, does anyone remember the period when washing machines had to have double skin doors on them, coz some kid had burned its fingers on the glass when the machine was on a boil wash..........well i was wondering what ever happened to that..........when did the powers that be decide we dont need that sort of protection any more?

Anways great to see all your work with rob and the results.........STILL WAITING FOR A FAMILY FOT by the way :-)

Ps oh yeah a very beaten up and knackered Hoover electron 800 dual spin came into today so i stripped of the soapdraw front/front panel/knob trim coz it was in good condition..anyone need it?

also i nice old Hoover ranger with original bag but ill do that up.......

right thats me news ..........warra bummer that computer control going like that........ah well

Gary

I sooooo hope that those machines have gone to a collector!

£20.00 a piece - what a steal - still shows initiative on the buyers part.
A real shame that we will never see them.

Hey ho.
A slightly sad

Gary do tell about that Ranger - ~Im after one and if your up for selling it id gladly have it off you,

If you are for selling it can you post me a piccie?

Cheers

My other half isn't well at the moment - LOL

I cant wait to join the CCOC!

That is the 'Computer Control Owners Club'.

Having had a quick peek at the purchasers previous buys, I have to say they dont look very collectory to me unfortunately.

I do hope desperately that i am wrong - it was a first series, black facia machine - lower lip quivers!

clutching at straws!

Too right im not well....

Guess you better come see me and tuck me into bed.

I have a fever (Mexican Arielitis) .

Push button machines? meh you only need to push the right buttons with me, and you know it.

This is not a sign that you may be in the market sometime for one of those god awful over rated Miele things with 101 useless lettuce leaf/lace knickers/pvc catsuit cycles?

Gawd, LOL!
