Philco bought the Dexter washing Machine Co.

of Fairfield Iowa. They then started branding Dexter single and double tub wringer washer as Philco's and Philco automatic washers and dryers as Dexter's. I know someone on this sight has a 1956 Dexter Automatic Washer that is nothing but a 1956 Philco with the Dexter name on it.....is that you Robert?????? PAT COFFEY

My grandmother had a Philco-Ford wringer washer.
